The Oncology Academy is a bi-annual Oncology-focused educational initiative driven by a Scientific Steering Committee that seeks to help fulfil the educational needs of oncologists intending to develop a career in supporting optimal care for cancer patients.
The Oncology Academy has been established to support the clinical community as a long-term educational programme to support best practice, improved patient outcomes and evidence-based approaches, with meetings taking place every other year, with 2023 being the first.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the Oncology Academy’s first event will take place on Friday 8 – Saturday 9 September 2023 and will be held at the Lagoas Park Hotel, Portugal. This 2-day meeting will bring mid-level oncologists that specialise in breast and prostate cancer together to experience a range of informative and interactive sessions including plenary and panel discussions, hot topic breakout sessions, case study presentations and workshops.
Accreditation for the Oncology Academy course will be sought from the Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE).
